Field Notes

Description:

Shiny green beetle with a squarish look. Legs usually green or dark, not brown. Cretaceous (chalky) spots on pygidium not usually concealed by hairs. Pollen and nectar eater.

Habitat:

On Rough Leaved Dogwood bloom.
