Description:

Ladybird with yellow blotches, pale yellow and black on pronotum.

Possibly Cheilomenes lunata.

Habitat:

Near river in open grassland area.

Thanks, Sarah. It looks like the Fungus-Eating Ladybird is only found in Australia and New Zealand.
Might be a Fungus-Eating Ladybird (Illeis galbula) or similar species. What do you think?! :-)
