Description:
Roosters can not fly. A domestic chicken live an average of five years. The roosters are distinguished from females or hens, a bright red skin on each side of their beaks and a few red feathers and skin protruding from the top of its beak. These features make living in a wild habitat, it hard for cocks escape predators.
Habitat:
It is common to think of a rooster as living outside a country house in a coop or in the courtyards of rural residents. However, the habitat of the cocks of today is very different from natural habitats were centuries ago. Most roosters today live on farms and watching the chickens with which they mate with in their coops.
