Field Notes

Description:

A very small bug which is triangular in shape, gray in color. Long antenna below very wide-set eyes on a wedge-shaped head. Winged. Surface of skin is patterned with "pits". Legs are white and spotted. There appears to be possibly a probiscus below the "nose".

Habitat:

Seen on a blade of grass in the lawn in the backyard.

Notes:

This was a tiny creature moving through the grass. It clung to a blade of grass for a while then moved to another.
