Green bottle flies, most commonly seen infesting garbage cans.

Habitat:

Garbage,homes,dumpsters.

Notes:

Adults drink plant nectar, maggots eat rotting garbage/feces/plant matter. Nature's cleanup crew! Very common in the U.S.
