Description:

Ladybug species. I'm pretty sure this one was attracted to the green aphids (ton on the thistle plant). 98 species of ladybugs are found in Florida. there were two of these little beetles on the plant along with another black beetle, leatherwing, and ants.

Habitat:

Along the wetlands with thistle, Southern Fleabane, and Beggar's Tick.

Notes:

Picture was taken at the Orlando Wetlands Park, Christmas, FL.
