Field Notes

Description:

Small black and white striped spider. Males have long chelicerae (mouthparts) which make them distinguishable from the females.

Habitat:

Suburban yard, stalking around on the fence.

Notes:

I think this is the first male Zebra Jumper I have seen despite having seen so many of this species. Also found in Europe.
