Field Notes

Description:

A weird looking curled abdomen moth which rests propped back on flattened wing tips. About 20mm overall.

Habitat:

Attracted to night lighting at the locl school.

Notes:

Called ‘Poroporo Moth’ in NZ. This one is a 'pest' on Solanaceae. Found all over Australia and Norfolk Island as well as New Zealand. <br>
