Description:

Buddha Coconut is a tall tree, which bears coconut like fruit.

Habitat:

Buddha Coconut, large deciduous trees is native to India. Found in evergreen forests.

Notes:

In some parts of India drums are made with this tree.
The fibre from bark is used to make cordage. Seeds are eaten, and the plant has medicinal properties.
