Dense deciduous forest

Notes:

These bee's? were collecting sap that was pouring from the side of the tree

It is not common to see orange-colored stingless bees. Good find.
Hi Mark, my initial thoughts also, I was hopeful that their colouring would make for an easy ID, but I've not been able to. Thanks for the input.
They sure look like bees to me Rob. Collection baskets on rear tibia?
