Description:

I think this might be a bug in the Family Rhyparochromidae (the Dirt Colored Seed Bugs) which used to be a subfamily of the Lygaeidae. It has slightly enlarged front femora with large spines. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhyparochromidae

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.
