Description:

The largest of the UK paridae family. It has readily adapted to man made environments and is a frequent vistitor to parks and gardens. feeds on nuts and seeds and is a UK resident.

Habitat:

seen in a meadow in the Eden valley, Appleby in westmorland

Great tits also have it. But note its wide and heavily marked belly band - no other European tit has it!
