Field Notes

Description:

Smoky looking yellow caps on fibrous pale yellow stipes. Pileus depressed and darker at centre; gills show forking, adnexed; margin thin, overhanging; no cortina?, ring?, volva... 70mm tall 50mm wide; .....

Habitat:

Growing in mud near the base of a huge eucalyptus (regnans?) Tall eucalyptus rain forest.
