Description:

A polished acacia leaf beetle with rows of pitting along the elytra. Scarce.
Note the red mites attached

Habitat:

On Acacia.
Mt Lofty nature reserve

Notes:

Seems to be european;

Well researched Mark, as always. This chap was on Acacia but possibly got lost while visiting his cousin Calomela. There is certainly St Johns Wort in this park so our data seems to be consistent.
Introduced to control St John's wort and naturalised. 8-/ Thanks Martin.
