Field Notes

Description:

Uncertain of length but a juvenile about 28-30 inches I length. Diameter of 1/2 to 3/4 inches. Overall tone of a black snake however with closer focus it is obvious that it is a snake that ranges in a predominant color of black to a grey with a white color under the jaw and red nose are. Brown eyes.

Habitat:

Transitional area of predominantly pine forest with a swampy wetland nearby.

Thank you, @Selma. I did you too. Thought the fungi and mushrooms were interesting. I never kn0ow much about them so I will take more pictures now that I know someone who knows them.
