Field Notes

Description:

Juvenile male sighted at about 1 PM in rocky habitat near a stream. Specimen is likely at least 1 year of age and was slightly less than 32 centimeters.

Habitat:

Near a gravel path around a stream and wooded area. A major road is not far from this habitat.

Notes:

Little guy seemed to be in good shape and was eager to get away. Temperature was about 84 degrees Fahrenheit and humidity was fairly high. Thunderstorms occurred in the area just over 3 hours previously.
