Field Notes

Description:

The light blue males reaches a wingspan of 35-40 millimeters. The second abdominal segment bears a longitudinal strips, segments 3-6 lancet-shaped, black spot. The segments 7 and 8 are mostly solid black upper hand, segments 9 and 10 in light blue. The head is characterized by three narrow blue stripes, the eyes are strikingly blue. The female is usually light green with its color, front head / thorax and posterior abdominal segments, between the abdomen segments 3/4 - light blue.

Habitat:

wet area along the lake, overgrown with grass and reeds
