Thank you Suzanne! :) They're a really beautiful flower up close. I found a cluster of them during a hike on top of a mountain. I'm trying to learn more about invasive species and how I can make a difference for those that are native and the creatures that depend on the natives.
Beautiful flowering vine, WildlifeEarth, considered invasive in much of the U.S. for its ability to overwhelm native species. Grows fast. I've seen it completely cover big trees, right up to the top. Still, people like it and often include single plants in their gardens.
