Field Notes

Description:

A white duck with brown tail feathers and brown patch on top of the main body. It has orange feet and a brown-orange bill.

Habitat:

Seawater- near low-tide mud banks

Notes:

It appeared to be feeding in very shallow water just by mudbanks.

As Jopy says, this is a domestic duck, a direct descendant of the wild mallard, and as such carries the same scientific name, in the same way that domestic pigeons are mostly direct descendants of the Rock Dove, again with the same scientific name.
Three, educational photos....three, unusual photos....
What species Jopy? I have looked and can't find any breeds similar.
