Field Notes

Notes:

The Willian Beardall Tosohatchee State Reserve has a nice population of Swallowtail Kites. I saw at least 6 of them in the few hours I was on the trails. This one is carrying nesting material, and it had 2 other kites following close behind it.

Thanks EnvUnlimited. They're beautiful birds, hope you get some shots.
Thanks Mark. I was fortunate the Kite flew right by me with good light.

I'm so excited that the Swallow Kites are nesting now!! :D Awesome photo!
Since it's carrying nesting material, can you please consider adding this spotting to the Animal Architecture mission at http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8082378
