Description:

Most likely Long-billed and Short-billed Dowitchers.

Habitat:

Wetlands. Shallow waters with Catails, Palms, etc.

Notes:

Picture was taken at the Orlando Wetlands Park, Christmas, FL.

Yeah I plan to by the new Sibley Field Guide that just came out since it is the most up to date with taxonomy as well. I also found out that they are Dowitchers and probably a mixture of the two. I will definitely check it out. Thanks!
Rosa.The best tip I could give you is Purchase The Sibley Field Guide to Birds of Eastern North America Flexibound by David Allen Sibley A great artist,much better than photos. And Identifying birds by yourself with this guide gives you experience for future sightings. Oh and watch the movie THE BIG YEAR with Steve Martin Jack Black and Owen Wilson (Bostic)
