Little black bug on a thistle with ladybugs, aphids, ants, and a leatherwing.

Habitat:

Along the wetlands with other thistles, Southern Fleabane, Beggar's Tick, etc.

Notes:

Picture was taken in the Orlando Wetlands Park, Christmas, FL.

That is a true bug, not a beetle. From the rounded shape looks like a Shield-backed Bug.
