Description:

Blue/green, with orange and black legs.
Possibly Scutelleridae (Shield-backed Bugs/Jewel Bugs).

Habitat:

Open sourveld grassland.

Notes:

Observed in Malolotja Nature Reserve.

A late instar nymph of a bug. Hemiptera; probably pentatomidae. Gorgeous.
