Description:

Dark birds that are mainly black with iridescent blue coloration. These birds have yellow eyes.

Habitat:

Open areas, fields, pastures, cities

Notes:

This species frequently displays postures such as seen in the second picture as well as feather fluffing in the presence of other grackles.
