Description:
Male in breeding colors sports coppery orange head and few other markings. Females have the five stripes that give the species its name.
Habitat:
Unkempt farm, amid leaf litter in rocky area.
Notes:
The male was pursuing a female. Both specimens are shown here. This species also goes by the name Eumeces fasciatus.
