Field Notes

Description:

This moth was only 8 mm long, the smallest of this type I've ever seen. It actually looked superficially more like a fly than either a moth or wasp.

Habitat:

Lacandon Jungle, Las Guacamayas Eco-Lodge, Lacantun River, Chiapas.

What a brilliant spotting, Lauren. To me it's got everything that warrants an SOTD ! Only 8mm and so interesting.
