Field Notes

Notes:

The Orlando Wetlands Park has a number of Ospreys and Eagles. This Osprey was flying with a fish in its talons, when 2 adult Bald Eagles chased the Osprey until it dropped the fish and one of the eagles picked it up from the water.

Emily the poor Osprey didn't have much choice than to drop its fish and fly off.
Poor Osprey! That is a loose loose situation for that guy!
Rosa, thanks for the comment. Too bad the Osprey had to do all the work only to loose its food.
I've heard of this, but I have never seen it! Nice! They are such opportunists. Poor Osprey.
