Field Notes

Description:

This is a small, but very active bird. Often found flying through the air with a very distinct flight pattern. Comes in to feeders with small seeds. Can be found in the wild feeding on things like wild thistle.

Habitat:

Very common throughout the entire United States.

Notes:

These little guys are tough to get pictures of. I have seen them flying around my home a lot throughout the summer time.
