Description:

female, I'm guessing the other one in the second photo is the same species just in different stages of growth, but perhaps it is a different species

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I spotted these at Tawau hills park.

Thanks bayucca for the ID and Chun for the info. You may be right Chun, but I guess there is now way to tell for sure.
There is another species occurring in Borneo, it's the Nisitrus brunnerianus. Maybe one of them is N. brunnerianus ? Little is still known about N. brunnerianus because it is not widespread, only endemic to Borneo
