Micrurus tener
29.9191, -94.0199
Field Notes
Description:
Don't touch this snake! Unless you have experience don't muck with it. It belongs in the family elapidae. Which is the family that has your cobras mombas. Some of the most venomous snakes in the world belong to that family and so does this coral snake. It is the most venomous snake in America but usually quite docile. And they don't make antivenom for in America. So don't mess with it.
Habitat:
Usually under logs and wooded moist humid areas. Found this under tin
Notes:
Some one took me to find this guy so I could mess around with it with a snake hook and get some pictures. Really docile just tried to get away. But then again since it's a elapid they don't have to get in the "s" position to strike. so who know how many times it go ready to bite but then didn't. Haha
