Description:

Strange white egg masses stuck to the trunk of a dead tree in the River Tzendales, Lacandon Jungle. I couldn't get as close as I wanted from the boat.

Notes:

The masses were hard and many were broken. The video was made by Arturo Escoboso and is the same river excursion we took. It starts at the Guacamayas Eco-Lodge and travels into the Montes Azules Reserve on the Lacantun River and then into the Tzendales River.
