Field Notes

Description:

This beetle is the biggest insect I've ever seen, it is just massive and huge.
It was in the museum of the ancient Mayan city of Palenque. They said it entered the place the night before by one open window. I wonder the use of those large front legs.

Habitat:

Rainforest.

Notes:

this in my spotting 3,600.
