Description:

when fully open the flowers look like little yellow trumpets, originally from the foothills of the Alps this little flower grows wild often as an escapee from gardens. The photo is actually quite deceptive as it was growing out the side of a wall not from the ground as it looks. flowers from spring until mid summer.

Habitat:

seen on a wall up a public footpath at Appleby in westmorland.
