Field Notes

Description:

On the trunk of a small dead acacia this stack of velvety caramel, chocolate and vanilla plates ran for about two metres.

Habitat:

In a wet gully with mostly native vegetation but some introduced species such as Pinus radiata, Tobacco leaf tree, .

Notes:

No under shot of this one. It was clean white with small pores.

Thanks Dani... as I said I'm almost certain they are trametes not stereum.
Either turkey tails or false turkey tails
