Pseudexentera moths mating
Pseudexentera
40.7064, -74.5493
Field Notes
Habitat:
Oak-hickory forest.
Notes:
I noticed the top moth had a weird posture as I was photographing it, but I didn't notice that it was mating until after I looked at my photos later. Based on its general appearance and habitat, Shagbark Hickory Leafroller Moth (Pseudexentera cressoniana) seems like a decent possibility.
