Description:

Cup fungi. Orange on topside of cup. Light on the underside of cup. Twisted stem.

Habitat:

Wet area with lots of leaf-litter.

Notes:

Justin and I found this fungi at Penbank on Tuesday 21st May 2013

Species ID Suggestions

This isn't what is normally referred to as 'Cup Fungi' as it has gills. This is a standard Agaric (gilled mushroom) with an inverted cap, something which happens to a lot of old mushrooms. I'm not 100% on my ID but it is likely given your location, the time of year, and the mushroom's cap and spore colour.
