Field Notes

Description:

Gorgeous family of three - mom, dad and 2 year old

Habitat:

Grazing relaxedly amongst the thicket in the subtropical Kruger National Park.

Notes:

A rare site I would say. Male, female and two year old offspring - more evidence that the rhinoceros is NOT a lone animal. Point in fact, it is more social than originally thought! Location manipulated on purpose.
