Description:
This is the same pond with the mother and duckling of questionable species (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/23097125). There was no sign of the mother and her ducklings, but on this visit there were 3 pairs of easily identified mallards.
Habitat:
Breeding mallards seen in Georgia are feral, i.e. escaped or released from captivity, there are no truly wild mallards breeding in Georgia.
Notes:
Spotted at a wooded detention/retention pond in an office building complex in Kennesaw, GA
