Field Notes

Description:

Golden geometer moth with fine brown wavy lines on the wings.The wingspan is 20 - 25 mm. The moths fly from June - August.
The larvae feed on various low-growing plants such as chickweed, sorrel and other species from the Polygonaceae family.

Habitat:

The species can be found in Europe, North-America and Asia.
