Field Notes

Habitat:

I think this may be a nest, camouflaged on some dead grass. It looks like a seed pod, but if you look closely, doesn't quite fit. I could be wrong of course :)

You have a ribbed case moth being attacked by wasps :(
very interesting, look-like a insect nest not a plant structure.
No Lauren, the end was whole, no entrance. It's got me stumped, I don't know what to make of it, though I thought the wasps were so pretty.
How interesting! The way it is attached makes it look like it might be a nest. No entrance holes?
