Field Notes

Description:

Beautiful tiny resupinate fungi about 12mm diameter with smooth tan 'tops' and a pale tan colour to the gills. Spores turned out to be dark brown-purple. Note tiny pale stipe/stub at centres.

Habitat:

Growing intermittently along a small (12mm) wet, dead branch of a local shrub species. (Yet to be ID'd) Within very tall eucalyptus rain forest.
