Field Notes

Notes:

I believe this guy belongs to the order Hemiptera. It has short little wings that indicate it may undergo incomplete metamorphosis unlike the Coleoptera order. I thereby believe this is a nymph but I'm otherwise at a loss.

He moves very quickly & it was thereby difficult to get a non-blurry photo.

Species ID Suggestions

Bordered plant bug (nymph)

Largus sp.
