Field Notes

Description:

The first photo is of a tree nymph butterfly resting on a lemoncito bush. The second photo is the heart of a dwarf banana. I do not know if they are indigenous to the Philippines, but they certainly thrive in my garden.

Habitat:

Quezon city, Philippines

Notes:

The Philippines is bursting at the seams with people. Natural habitat of flora and fauna are being encroached into fast. I take satisfaction that my city garden is a haven for nature, excluding people, of which there are already too much.

Thanks for splitting them but you'll need to update your description. This butterfly spotting moved to the Arthropods category.
Very new here. Just learned the rule. Thanks
Please make two spottings from this. Only one species should be featured in a spotting so delete the 2nd photo and use it to make a new spotting. Choose the correct category for each spotting.
