Description:

this is a hollyhock also known as Alcea rosea is a biennial or short live perennial. newer strains or selections are shorter. Big rough roundish heart shaped leaves more or less lobed; this perticular hollyhock was a double flowered 3-6 inch wide pink and white flower

Habitat:

this old fashioned favorite is ussually placed at a back wall. Hollyhocks grow in all 24 climate zones of the western united states
