Field Notes

Description:

Tiny, Tiny ( 1/4 of my thumbnail) purple flower. It looks a bit like a wild violet. Yellow and white brushstrokes on the inside. 5 petals.

Habitat:

At the top of the Avila mountain, cold and cloudy. Galipan, near Caracas, Venezuela.

Notes:

We walked passed it and I went back to have a closer look. It is soo lovely but soo small.

Looks a lot like Cymbalaria muralis...not sure about its range, though.
