Description:

A small North America sparrow.
Bright chestnut crown, white eyebrow and black line from bill through eye to ear are diagnostic.

Habitat:

Spotted in my backyard. He is know used to see me around and filling up the feeders. Hence the so close portrait.

Thank you, Landmark Expert. I was walking by the feeder when I saw that one quietly taking its lot. He even let me time to go and grab the camera and keep some pictures. As I said, he is used to me (not the kids yet) and apparently knows I am the refueler...
i have a big chipping sparrow collection, we have 2 or 3 outside that make regular visits to our feeder. this is a great photo!
