Description:
Possibly the same heron that was here the day before (http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/24619121) although in this picture, this bird looks a little bigger and thicker-billed to me.
Habitat:
Look for Great Blue Herons in saltwater and freshwater habitats, from open coasts, marshes, sloughs, riverbanks, and lakes to backyard goldfish ponds
Notes:
Spotted at a wooded detention/retention pond in an office building complex in Kennesaw, GA
