Description:

April is mating season for these guys, and they couldn't care less how close you get to them. I actually managed to bump this guy on his nose with my lens hood, and he hardly flinched or moved away. Not reassuring when you're stepping into the swamp marsh in boots-- wouldn't want to step on one!
