Description:

Medium sized long legged piper. It has a bold white eyering. The tail is distinctly barred. Rump and center tail feathers dark. Legs are greenish

Habitat:

Retention pond in a new development.

Thanks AshleyT. I will investigate. It was just a quick glance, so no behavior was observed or sound heard. That always makes it harder with these guys.
I'm leaning more towards Solitary Sandpiper, but am by no means certain of that.
