http://www.mashpedia.com/List_of_Lepidoptera_of_Croatia Here are mentiones three different Peribatodes: Feathered Beauty (Peribatodes secundaria), Olive-tree Beauty (Peribatodes umbraria) and Willow Beauty (Peribatodes rhomboidaria) and that one is the most common (vineyards are pretty close are often where I have spotted it and its larva feed on grapevine) and relatively easy to distinguish cause it forms a little hunch while is walking...unfortunately I didn't force it to walk.... but than again, it marks are much darker. Secundaria however has like millions of variation http://www.lepiforum.de/cgi-bin/lepiwiki.pl?Peribatodes_Secundaria but the black lines are more like clouds than straight like on my spotting...and umbraria has much darker areas. So to conclude, by the signs on it wings yours is the only one that fits; 2 lines on beginning on the upper wings and 3 lines on the lower wings. According to this site http://www.lepidoptera.pl/show.php?ID=6849&country=XX it is found in Croatia too, so I would definitely go for that one! Thank you, this was tricky indeed!
Ok, thank you :) will do my research and as a worse case leave the species name instead!
Geometridae, Ennominae, Peribatodes sp. and looks in my eyes like Peribatodes correptaria. But this one was an extremely tricky one. They look all the same and you still have a great variability within the same species. Definitely something to verify. And it is definitely not Rhomboidea from your area.
